Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham (2008)

Story: Synopsis – Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham is the story of an affluent family – The Raichands. Yashvardhan Raichand (Amitabh Bachchan) and his wife Nandini (Jaya Bachchan) were blissfully married but always longed for a child. They adopted Rahul (Shahrukh Khan) and after 10 years the couple was blessed with another son – Rohan (Hrithik Roshan). Rahul falls in love with Anjali (Kajol) a bubbly, down to earth Punjabi ‘Kudi’ from Delhi’s Chandni Chowk, but Yash Raichand disowns him and is then forced to leave his home and parents forever. It is then that Rohan vows to reunite the family, at any cost may. With the help of Kajol’s sister- Pooja (Kareena Kapoor), he reaches out to his brother Rahul and succeeds in reminding him that life and happiness comes from loving your parents and being with your family. But will Yash ever accept his estranged son back?
