Aravaan (2012)

Aravaan is a period film and tells the story about the Nayak Dynasty and the Kallar community of Madurai. Aravaan is a 2012 Indian Tamil period film directed by Vasanthabalan, based on Su. Venkatesan's novel Kaaval Kottam.[2] It stars Aadhi, Dhansika, Malayalam actress Archana Kavi and Pasupathy,[3] with Kabir Bedi playing a prominent role,[4] and Bharath appearing in a cameo role.[5] The film marks noted playback singer Karthik's debut as a music director.
